These socks are meant to help you usher in the year of the Snake, or celebrate someone you love who might have been born under this zodiac sign. Yarn and notions: Yarn: 1 skein 100-115g (400-450 yards) Fingering weight yarn Sample in Leo BFL yarn (80% BFL, 20% nylon), from Alley Cat Yarns Colourway: Canoodle Alley Cat Yarns website: https://alleycatyarns.ca/collections/leo-bfl-sock-1 Needles: Cuff: 2.25 mm with a long cable for magic loop Leg, heel and foot: 2.5 mm needles (see note below) with a long cable for magic loop This section of the pattern features cables on multiple rounds which tend to make knits tighter. I went up a needle size to 2.5mm for the main part of the sock for that reason. If you are a naturally very tight knitter, you may wish to go up to 2.75 mm.
