Shoulder shaping is created using short rows, and the back is worked down to the underarms. Stitches are then picked up from the shoulders to work the front. At the underarms, the front and back are joined to knit the body. Stitches are picked up around the armhole openings to knit the armhole bands in the round. The edges along the fronts are finished with double knitting, and ties are created and attached at the chest.
