It is suitable for making blankets, cushions, scarves etc. It’s a beginner friendly mosaic pattern if you know crochet basics, as there are no special stitches, just SC and DC! Pattern contains written instructions, and a chart, and a link to a video for the corner join created by Bebablanket. Included are approximate sizes and yarn estimates for blankets in different sizes. There are no border instructions. As there are just a few ends, any border can be used on a blanket. If using DK/8ply yarn one block measures approx. 20cm (8"). Colour A used just 14g, 42m / 46yds. Colour B used 12g, 36m / 40yds. Of course, any yarn can be used but the size will vary. Pattern contains instructions on mosaic overlay techniques and chart reading. If this is your first mosaic overlay crochet project, you will find many YouTube videos if you need further help. When choosing yarn, it is important to choose contrasting colours so the pattern stands out.
