Each stripe uses only about 14 grams of fingering weight yarn, so you can mix freely while the structure of the pattern keeps everything looking intentional. Sundial uses mosaic knitting, worked one color per row with knits and slipped stitches only. The interlocked motif looks complex but the knitting stays straightforward, and the fabric grows quickly once you settle into it. --- ### **Design Details** Sundial is knit flat on the bias using two-color garter mosaic. The diagonal construction gives the wrap movement and drape while crisp i-cord edges frame the fabric cleanly. You can easily customize both width and length, and the pattern includes clear guidance for changing colors so you can relax and let your yarn choices lead.
