Choose one color of DK weight wool and hold it together with a coordinating strand of lace weight mohair silk. The mohair adds a frothy halo to the hat while you work the beautiful lace and cable pattern. This quick-to-knit hat makes a perfect gift! **Size** 1 (2, 3) **Finished Measurements** 18 (21, 23)″ / 46 (53, 58)cm head circumference. Measurements taken after blocking. The length is customizable. I recommend selecting a size that is 2 – 3″ / 5 – 8cm smaller than your actual head circumference. Size 2 is shown on a 22.5″ / 57cm head circumference. **Yarn** DK weight held together with lace weight mohair. You can knit this hat without the extra strand of mohair for a simple DK weight wool version. **Yardage** 190 (210, 230)yds / 174 (192, 210)m of each strand of yarn **Needles** US 5 / 3.75mm circular in 40″ / 100cm length or one size smaller than larger needle US 6 / 4mm circular in 40″ / 100cm length or size needed to obtain gauge Magic loop method is used for knitting in the round.
