*Herzlichen Dank an meine wundervolle Teststrickerin [tashahanson][1]! On the evening of December 5th, the children put their freshly cleaned boots in front of the front door. The following night, Saint Nicholas comes and fills the boots with small gifts, apples, nuts or sweets. *The pattern include everything you need for December 5th and 6th: **boots**, matching **apples** and of course a **"chocolate" Santa Claus**. At the end there is a matching **secret Santa door** to print out and make. This way a gnome or fairy can move into your home.* This is a lovely yarn scraps project that only requires a few meters of yarn. **Skill Level:** For intermediate knitters who are familiar with working in the round. **Finished Measurements:** The boots are approx. 0.8 inch high and the sole is approx. 0.9 inch long when using fingering yarn. When using lace yarn, the boots are approx. 0.7 inch high and the sole is approx. 0.8 inch long. The pattern is very detailed written and includes photos and photo tutorials. Interesting facts about St. Nicholas Day will make you want to knit your own “Saint Nicholas boots”. I would be delighted if we could knit your unique “Saint Nicholas boots” together… *Many thanks to my wonderful test knitter [tashahanson][4]! The boots also go very well with Natasha's patterns. Feel free to check her out [here][5].* Feel free to share your “Saint Nicholas boots” here in the [Wee Folk Valley][6] group.
