Named after the town in Ireland my grandparents lived by before they moved to the United States, this design is a nod to my generations of knitting ancestors and my grandmother who first taught me to knit. With a top-down construction, modified drop shoulder fit and shoulder shaping, this sweater blends the classic Aran sweater style with a modern fit and construction. This gender-neutral design includes two fit options, as well as guidance on further modifying sleeve and body lengths to suit your own body. **PATTERN DETAILS** Detailed information about this pattern, including a full schematic, can be found in the Pattern Detail pages linked below. Excerpts from the pattern details page are also included below. [FIT I - PATTERN DETAILS (PDF)][2] [FIT II - PATTERN DETAILS (PDF)][3] **SIZING** Fit I is graded based on a traditional women’s sizing chart and Fit II is graded based on a traditional men’s sizing chart. Both fit types are graded to 10 sizes, designed to fit bodies with bust/chest measurements between 30-66” (75-165 cm). All sizes include an additional 8" (20 cm) of ease in the finished garment. See the pattern details pages above to see a full schematic. **SAMPLE** The cream sample is shown in Fit I & Size B. It is worn with 8” / 20 cm of positive ease at the bust and 5” / 12.5 cm of positive ease at the upper arm on a body with a height of 5’2” / 157 cm. The blue sample is shown in Fit II & Size B. It is worn with 8” / 20 cm of positive ease at the chest and 4” / 10 cm of positive ease at the upper arm on a body with a height of 5’9” / 175 cm. **TESTERS** Check out this pattern modeled on a variety of body shapes and sizes in the [Tester Showcase][4]. Detailed information is included about each tester project. **YARN** Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed (heavy worsted/aran weight; 100% non-superwash Merino wool; 210 yds / 190 m per 100 g).
