Salve Sweater

The Salve sweater is worked seamlessly from the bottom up. You begin by casting on stitches for the ribbed hem of the body and work in stockinette stitch in the round up to the armholes. The back and front pieces are then separated and worked back and forth separately. The round neckline is shaped with decreases on the fronts, and the shoulders are joined with the three needle bind-off technique. Stitches for the neckline are picked up and knitted to a stand-up collar. The sleeves are picked up along the armhole edge and worked in the round down to the cuffs.
