Rina Mini Shawl

**ABOUT THE PATTERN** This shawl, dedicated to someone very dear to me named Rina (thank you for lending an ear when I needed it), features a triangular construction that starts with just a few stitches and increases as it grows. It introduces a technique of adding a bead into three stitches, a distinctive feature of my designs. The shawl is not only beautiful but also fun and quick to knit, as it’s a smaller shawl, so you might find yourself wanting to knit it more than once. It’s a wonderful way to create something special or to make a gift for a loved one. If you don’t have beads, don’t worry—I’ve provided an alternative to make it without them. **SIZES** One size **FINISHED SHAWL MEASUREMENTS** A. Total Width: 115 cm / 46” approx. B. Bead 2 / Miyuki / Round 6/0 / color: pink /Units 180 or 17 grams. Bead 3 / Miyuki / Round 6/0 / color: light purple /Units 90 or 9 grams. **PATTERN NOTES** Note 1: The total grams of beads needed will vary according to their size. Note 2: Before starting your project, make a swatch to ensure you are getting gauge and that your shawl will come out to the correct final measurements. If you have more stitches per inch than indicated, your tension is tighter, and you must go up a needle size or two. If you have fewer stitches per inch than indicated, your tension is looser, and you need to go down a needle size or two. Note 3: To make the technique of 1 bead in 3 stitches, I recommend using Calibrated beads of the following size or shape: round 6/0 or 3/0, square 3mm or 4mm, and Miyuki Delica 8/0 (using an 8/0 round is useless). **ACERCA DEL PATRÓN** Este chal, dedicado a una persona muy querida para mí, llamada “Rina”, diseñadora chilena (gracias por escucharme cuando lo necesité), presenta una construcción triangular que comienza con solo unos pocos puntos y crece a medida que avanzas. Se trabaja una técnica para añadir una mostacilla en tres puntos, un rasgo distintivo de mis diseños. Mostacilla 3 / Miyuki / Round 6/0 / color: light purple / Unidades 90 o 9 gramos. **NOTAS DEL PATRÓN** Nota 1: Hacer la muestra es esencial para que tu chal quede del tamaño indicado, si tu muestra es más chica te recomiendo que aumentes el número de las agujas. Si tu muestra es más grande, disminuye el número de las agujas. Nota 2: Los gramos de mostacillas varian dependiendo el porte de ella. Nota 3: para realizar la técnica de 1 mostacilla en 3 puntos, recomiendo usar mostacillas calibradas de los siguientes tamaños o formas: redondas 6/0 o 3/0, cuadradas de 4 mm y Miyuki Delica 8/0 (usar una redonda 8/0 no es útil). Igualmente, si no encuentras mostacillas calibradas, puedes reemplazarlo por esta técnica (usando con o sin mostacilla)
