Heirloom Advent Calendar

Christmas is one of my favourite times of year. The excitement, the anticipation, thedecorations...all of it fills me with joy! This pattern pulls on all of my favourite Christmassy things: gingerbread houses, Christmas trees, hot chocolates and of course, hanging the stockings for Father Christmas. This is my daughter’s second Christmas, and I’m looking for ways to create Christmas traditions and memories for her. The idea for the Heirloom Advent came to me in the height of summer, and has turned out (though I say it myself) even more beautiful than I had imagined. This pattern is for the wall hanging calendar, with pockets for all sorts of treasures (turn to the back page for lots of ideas on non-sugary suggestions) knit in DK weight yarn and backed onto felt. There is also a super chunky blanket: perfect for snuggling under to watch Christmas films available separately. I hope you love this pattern as much as I do, and get many years of joy from it!
