MC (Pearl): 1 skein, 306 m / 335 yds. CC (Marte): 1 skein, 306 m / 335 yds. Or **Recommended Sock Yarn:** Malabrigo Sock. 100% Superwash Merino Wool. 402 m / 440 yds / 100g / 3.5 oz. MC: 1 skein, 402 m / 440 yds. CC: 1 skein, 402 m / 440 yds. **Needles and Notions** Sport weight yarn: 3.75 mm (US 5) circular needle, or size required for gauge, minimum 80 cm / 32 inches long. Sock weight yarn: 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needle, or size required for gauge, minimum 80 cm / 32 inches long. Tapestry needle to sew in ends. **GAUGE** **Sport weight:** 22 sts and 32 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in garter st, after blocking. **Sock weight:** 26 sts and 42 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in garter st, after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this project, but variations will affect yardage requirements and final measurements. **SIZE** **Sport weight:** Wingspan: 190 cm / 76 inches, Depth: 42.5 cm / 17 inches.
