Learn more about the Cocoknits Method [here][1]. Check out our helpful Tools & Accessories [here][2]! Meet **Baby Coco**! Version A is a debonair little grandpa cardigan, with stockinette body, front pockets and shawl collar. Version B has a sweet, simple lace panel below the yoke. Whichever version you choose, this pint-size pattern is a great way to learn the Cocoknits Method without committing to the time and yardage of a full adult sweater. It features Cocoknits Method shoulders and uses the Cocoknits Sweater Worksheet. Included are instructions for picking up the button band, for working short rows to create the shawl collar and for pockets! We’ve included sizing from 12 months to 6 years old so it should be a solid, reliable pattern to return to over and over. You also have choices as you knit Baby Coco: Version A is stockinette and can be knit with or without pockets. Version B has a lace panel below the yoke. For both versions, you can finish with a shawl collar or a basic button band. ______________________________________________ **BEFORE PURCHASING THIS PATTERN** This sweater is worked using the **Cocoknits Method**, a commonsense system for knitting seamless, tailored sweaters from the top down. The Cocoknits Method is explained in detail in [*Cocoknits Sweater Workshop*][3] by Julie Weisenberger, in her [On Demand Classes][4], and in tutorials on cocoknits.com. All of the page numbers in this pattern refer to pages in *Cocoknits Sweater Workshop*, where the techniques are explained in detail. Some knitters find that they can learn the new-to-them techniques with our [free knit tutorials][5], while others are more comfortable purchasing an [On Demand Class][6], or the [*Cocoknits Sweater Workshop*][7] book, available on our website and at many local yarn stores. ______________________________________________ **Videos** Available for separate purchase: [Baby Coco On Demand Class][8] [KLL (Knit through Left Loop)][9] [KRL (Knit through Right Loop)][10] [How to Increase with PLL (Purl through Left Loop)][11] [How to Increase with PRL (Purl through Right Loop)][12] [BLCO: Backwards Loop Cast-On][13] [How to Seam an Underarm (with No Gaps!)][14] [How to Knit Short Rows in Garter Stitch][15] **Sizes** 1 (2, 4, 6) year(s) *Finished Measurements* Finished Chest Circumference: 22.5 (24.5, 26.25, 28.25)” / 57.5 (62, 67, 71.5) Finished Length: 11 (12, 15, 17)” / 28 (30.5, 38.5, 43.5) cm **Materials** *Yarn* 300 (390, 485, 580) yds / 275 (355, 440, 530) m of worsted - aran weight yarn that gets gauge *Shown in:* Bread & Butter Everyday 100% Merino Wool; 200 yds / 183 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein in Ballpoint (blue, size 1), Lantana (orange, size 2) and Wild Raspberry (pink, size 3) *Needles* US 8 / 5 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge) circular needle, 32" / 80 cm or longer for body and sleeves (see page 19 for information on needle length).
