Willow Granny Square

The willow granny square is a beautiful and versatile motif that can be used to make blankets, bags, and coasters. This version of the pattern contains my modifications from the original willow granny square pattern, which results in smaller holes. It will show you how to crochet the granny square in a single color without having to cut or rejoin the yarn. It also features gorgeous eyelet border which gives it straighter edges, and adds a decorative finish to your project! This pattern is in English and uses US terminology. Skill level: Beginner (must know how to read crochet patterns, abbreviations included) Materials needed: DK weight yarn, 3.5 mm hook, yarn needle, scissors (You can use any size yarn and hook appropriate for your project, but size will be different!)
