The Before Bloom Bandana is a small triangular scarf knitted in garter stitch in combination with the intarsia technique. The motif places organic shapes at the centre of the triangle. The triangle is knitted from the right-side corner to the left-side corner, first increasing and then decreasing on every other RS row along the left edge only to create the third point of the triangle (the lower point shown in the schematic above). An I-cord edge is worked along both sides as you knit for neat edges. **FINISHED MEASUREMENTS** 1. Width, measured point to point: 96.5cm (38in) 2. Depth: 23cm (9in) **YARN** 4-ply (fingering weight) yarn that matches the tension (gauge) in 4 shades. As the shapes in the motif use only a small amount of yarn, this is a great project for using up leftover odds and ends in your yarn stash. **MC:** 200m (219yds) **CC1:** 36m (40yds) **CC2:** 32m (35yds) **CC3:** 36m (40yds) Yarn used in the samples: John Arbon Textiles Knit by Numbers 4ply Mini skeins (50 per cent Merino, 50 per cent Bluefaced Leicester, 100m / 109yds, 25g / 7/8oz).
