* The Chantal Sweater V-neck is worked top-down in a slip stitch pattern, starting with a back-and-forth yoke that includes raglan and V-neck increases. Short rows are used to shape the back neck for a better fit. Once the V-neck is shaped, the stitches are joined, and the yoke is knitted in the round down to the underarms. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold, stitches are cast on for the underarms, and the body is worked in the round down to the hem. After the body is complete, the held sleeve stitches are transferred back onto the needles to knit the sleeves in the round.
