Retro Flower Power

This square is inspired by the retro graphic floral prints of the 70s and 90s. A 20cm square (made with DK and 4mm hook) which can be incorporated into any granny square project. Also includes layout and joining instructions to create the bag in the photos, as well as details on the yarns used. UK and US terms. This is a great stash buster and would look fab in an assortment of colours. For the main photos I used 4 colours from the Knitcraft Cotton Blend range (Yellow, Teal, Hot Pink and Bright Blue). The bag was made with James Brett It’s Pure cotton and some Rico Lame for an added bit of sparkle - these were made with a 3mm hook. This pattern is very tactile and includes front post stitches and puff stitches as well as working back and forth between different rounds.
