Warm and joyful, the Among the Wildflowers came about in an explosion of joy and love for knitting colorwork. The motif is whimsical and brings to mind frolicking through a meadow of wildflowers. The yardage needed gives you enough yarn for two pairs of socks with 100 g skeins. Simply swap C1 and C2 for the second pair. Among the Wildflowers is knit from the cuff down in the round with a heel flap and gusset construction. SIZES (Baby, Toddler, Child) (Adult S, M, L) FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Foot circumference: (4.75, 5.5, 6.5) (7.5, 8.5, 9.5) inches / (12, 14, 16.5) (19, 21.5, 24)) cm YARN (1, 1, 1) (1, 1, 1) skein Mondim by Retorsaria Pomar in C1 (color C582), C2 (color B570), and C3 (color A575), Or (94, 122, 158) (222, 270, 322) yards / (86, 112, 145) (203, 247, 295) meters C1, (16, 20, 22) (26, 28, 32) yards / (15, 19, 21) (24, 26, 30) meters C2, (26, 32, 38) (42, 48, 52) yards / (24, 30, 35) (39, 44, 48) meters C3 fingering weight yarn. NEEDLES One 32-inch (80 cm) US size 1 (2.25 mm) (or size needed to obtain gauge) circular knitting needle. Note: This pattern assumes the Magic Loop method is used. Feel free to use DPNs instead if you prefer. NOTIONS Three stitch markers, and a tapestry needle. GAUGE 34 stitches and 52 RNDs = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette on US size 1 (2.25 mm) needles.
