Muszelka Purse

Muszelka (small seashell in Polish) is a knitted purse with a zipper that will complete all your little mermaid dreams. A quick and engaging project that can be completed in a few days. The pattern includes a sewing pattern for the lining. You can make stripes or marl two colours together for an even more quirky look. MATERIALS: 3.5 mm needles 80 cm cable 14 cm zipper A thin, non-stretchy fabric for the lining ( 20 cm x 40 cm ) 18 g of Sunday by Sandnes Garn ( 50 g/ 235 m ) NOTE: two strands are held together MEASUREMENTS: 12 cm x 12 cm GAUGE: 26 stitches x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles holding two strands together This pattern uses techniques like German short rows and sewing in a zipper and a lining but I encourage new knitters to give it a try and learn something new!
