Bon Melange

Bon Melange is a delicate, triangular scarf that mixes three colors of silk mohair to create new marled shades in asymmetric color blocks. A simple triangular scarf/kerchief is worked sideways, increasing from a narrow point to the full width, then decreasing to the opposite point. It's worked holding 2 strands of Bonmoher throughout, changing one strand at a time to create the color blocking and melange effect. **Materials:** Urth Bonmoher, 3 colors, 1 skein each **Dimensions:** 47.75/121 cm long, 15.75/ 40 cm wide **Needles:** US 6/4 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge **Notions:** Tapestry needle, stitch markers as needed **Gauge:** 22 stitches x 28 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch **Skill level:** Easy **Techniques:** Knit and purl stitches, slipped stitches, knitting through the back loop, increases and decreases <i>The pattern's been updated on September 2nd 2024.</i> **Errata**: the number of repeats per each colour block, the total stitch counts in the pattern are correct 1st - 44 times, 2nd - 16 times, 3rd - 24 times+8 times, 4th - 8 times, 5th - 32 times, 6th - 37 times total
