Just a little something, something to tuck in your bag for a chilly room when you need it. Make it a scarf size or as large as you like. Crocheted from the top down with shell stitch spines and an optional shell stitch border, this scarf can be made with about 200 yards of sock yarn and a size G (4mm) crochet hook. Finished size: 25.5" neckline x 8" long x 45.5" bottom edge that blocked to 32" neckline x 10.5" long x 61" bottom edge. Make it any size with more yarn and with any yarn weight by changing the hook size to suit the yarn. A DK weight shawlette can be made with 450 yards of yarn with a size H (5mm) crochet hook 46.5" neck x 15" long x 82" bottom edge.
