Time Warp

Time Warp is a blanket that is crocheted in the round from the center out. Carefully placed increases create an octagonal shape with unequal sides and angles that converge in the center like a wormhole. It is easy to hook with a 1,334 yards of DK weight yarn and a size H (5mm) crochet hook for a blanket measuring 39" long x 36.5" wide. Make it larger with more yarn or a baby size with 900 yards of DK weight yarn. This is a good project for a yarn with a long color run or to use up leftover and partial skeins of yarn. Use a different weight of yarn with a hook size recommended by the yarn label. The yarn weight, hook size, and the amount of yarn you have will determine the final size of the blanket.
