Easy Knit Fancy Face Cloth

Add a little luxury to your everyday with these **reversible textured** face cloths / washcloths / dishcloths. Knit in **oblique rib stitch**, a **4 row pattern repeat** which makes **diagonal stripes**. Most of the cloth is knit in easy **2x2 rib**. Includes instructions for adding an **optional hanging loop** at the end, knit with i-cord. Cast on 46 stitches with worsted/aran cotton for an **11 inch square** cloth, but you can add or substract a multiple of 4 to **make any size**. To make a lighter cloth, you could use DK cotton with 3-3.5mm needles or 4 ply with 2.5-3mm needles. Gauge is not important but I'd suggest using a needle size a bit smaller than usual to knit a dense fabric for your cloth.
