*You will get both English and Finnish instructions for CUFF DOWN and TOE UP instructions for FINGERING, SPORT and WORSTED weight yarn.* Juhani-socks are a little tribute to Seitsemän veljestä (The Seven Brothers) novel by Aleksis Kivi, the national author of Finland. Juhani was the oldest of the brothers, bossy, stubborn and quick-tempered. *Juhani-socks* have a textured stitch pattern and a heel wedge type heel which is worked both cuff down and toe up without picking up stitches. The pattern is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles. **FINGERING** **Sizes** S (M) L, foot circumference 17 (19.5) 22 cm / 6.75 (7.75) 8.75 inches with 10% negative ease built-in **Yarn** 100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 420 m/ 459 yds per 100 g.
