The Garner Booties

The GARNER BOOTIE PATTERN is my debut crochet pattern offering the choice between using a faux suede sole as your starting point or crocheting your own. In this pattern you will find instructions for four different sizes, Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-12 months and 3 different bootie cuff options to choose from also. This is a complete stash buster of a pattern, my testers have used anything from chunky weight to multiple strands of fine yarn held together. Hook size is dependant upon yarn chosen but a small hook (4mm approx.) will be necessary if you are using a faux suede sole as you will need to crochet through the small holes for the first round. The faux sole part of the pattern is written to the standard 27 and 31 hole soles for the 0-3 month and 3-6 month versions which are readily available to purchase. I have also included instructions to make the complete bootie (with crocheted sole) should you prefer. The crocheted sole version of the bootie can be made up to 12 months old. A crochet sole is the only option for the 6–12 month size for safety reasons as it is not recommend for babies to walk in the faux suede version of the booties.
