This light and floral mesh crochet top follows an intermediate, made-to-measure pattern. You may use any yarn you wish – though I do recommend cotton or cotton-like yarn in fingering, sport or DK weight. You have no gauge to meet other than your own, and the choice of hook size is also yours. With this pattern, you are expected to know how to make an FSC, a chain, a slip stitch, an SC, an HDC and a DC, and how to work in the back loop only. As for yardage, you will find in the pattern a detailed chart with data from the makers who tested the pattern. For my M-size prototype, I used about 450 yards.
