Choose Your Own Garden

Let your creativity and imagination bloom with every stitch, with endless combinations, personalize your sweater to reflect your unique style.  I love my patterns to have options to ‘make it your own’, where knitters can create their own design using different charts that are interchangeable. Choose from a variety of floral patterns, or add a bee, butterfly, or lady bug for a bit of whimsy. There are 29 charts for you to choose from. I have written this pattern as if you are using a single main colour and one contrast colour but the sample was knit with a 7-colour fade set by Baa-realis Fibre, where you get to decide when to introduce each complimentary shade. * A couple of the charts have been updated since testers knit their versions. Finished Chest Measurements 33 (36½, 40, 43, 46, 49½, 53, 56, 59, 62½, 66) inches 82.5 (91, 100, 107.5, 115, 124, 132.5, 140, 147.5, 156, 165) cm Suggested ease: 2-4 inch (5-10cm) positive ease. Yarn Baa-realis Fibre [370 yds / 100 g; 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon; Fingering Weight]. Sample was made using Merlot and Moss Fade as the MC and Natural for the CC. Needles US2 (2.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge US3 (3.25 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge Gauge Over stranded colourwork, 29 sts x 34 rounds = 4 inches (10 cm) This pattern has been tech edited by SIgrun Jones and tested by volunteers.
