First work the back yoke, then the shoulders, then the front. Rib edges are worked along the neck, the body and arm openings. SIZES XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL Sizes above correspond with the following chest measurements : 78-82 (82-86) 86-94 (94-102) 102-110 (110-118) 118-126 (126-134) 134-142 cm Measure your own chest circumference to determine which size will fit you the best. MEASUREMENTS The Spicy Slipover is designed to have approx. 12 cm of positive ease measured under armpit. Meaning the fit should be 12 cm larger in circumference than your actual bust measurements. The measurements are indicated on the diagram on page 12. Photos above: Size M / 169 cm tall / Chest circumference: 90 cm YARN AND MATERIALS Approx. 200 (200) 300 (300) 300 (400) 400 (400) 500 g of Sami from MANOS DEL URUGUAY (100% superwash wool, 100 g = 250 m) Circular needles 3 mm [ 80 cm ] ~ neckline and armhole edges Circular needles 3.5 mm [ 80 cm ] ~ body Tapestry needle GAUGE Pre-blocked gauge: 23 stitches x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 3.5 mm. Post-blocked gauge: 23 stitches x 32.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 3.5 mm. Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size. Wash and block your swatch.
