What is it about little brown mushrooms that is so comforting? Perhaps, like me, they remind you of a childhood of children’s books featuring adorable creatures baking pies and knitting mittens in little forest dwellings. Or perhaps it’s the feeling of surprise they bring to a forest stroll, keeping us focused on the here and now rather than worrying. Stand tall! I wanted to design realistic mushrooms that can also stand on their own.
