Pentacular is a boomerang shaped Tunisian Crochet shawl that starts its life as a pentagon. Pair three contrasting colours and have some fun with stripes, bobbles and lace. The boomerang shape is one you’ll keep coming back to for many of your shawls. **Supplies** 5.5mm interchangeable Tunisian crochet hook. Compatible cable at least 80cm/31” long for middle of shawl. Shorter compatible cable for sides of shawl (optional), around 40cm/15”long. **Measurements** Refer to schematic for measuring points below. a) Outside edge: 150cm / 59” b) Inside edge: 117cm / 46” c) Inner drop: 54cm / 21” **Gauge** 22 sts x 18 rows Tunisian simple stitch = 10 cm / 4” square Yarn Three contrasting colours of fingering weight yarn of the same fibre. The sample is made from Australian 4 ply Jokamamo Textiles Platinum Sock (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon), 425m/465y, 100g. Colour A: Neon Colour B: Highlighter Yellow Colour C: High Vis Vest Colour A must be longer than 365m/400y to complete the border.
