Literary Shawl

The Literary Shawl is inspired by memories of afternoons spent in the library with limitless potential in of row after row of hard bound novels, each promising their own journey. Its broken rib stitch mimics aged book pages, while garter ridge stripes echo the fabric of old hardcover novels and angles whisper of the many paths down which a story can lead us. The author weaves a gift with their words, offering adventure, while the knitter offers comfort with each intertwined stitch.
