Side Quest Shawl

The Side Quest Shawl is a tunisian crochet advanced beginner triangle shawl worked from the center out. The pattern sample was crafted with DK weight yarn but the design is also suitable for fingering and sport weight yarn. The size is easily adjustable to suit the maker's preference. Pattern also available on [Payhip][1] **Size** The sample size is 60" x 24" (150 x 60 cm) and used 750 yards of DK weight yarn. **Skill Level** Advanced Beginner **Yarn** This pattern works with fingering to DK weight yarn. For a medium sized shawl (as shown), 200g of fingering or sport weight yarn or 300g of DK weight yarn are requried. The sample used Feisty Fibers Spite DK Fade (3 skeins). **Gauge** Gauge is not critical for this pattern. It is more important to have good drape. **Hook** 6.5 mm (K) for DK weight yarn. 5.0 mm (H) hook with cable for fingering weight yarn.
