These top-down short socks begin with a fun little beaded “nugget” cuff! (Just like the [Nugget Mitts][1]!) Designed to work with a smaller skein of sock yarn, wait until you see how fast and amusing they are to knit! These are great “first” socks... so don’t be scared, jump right in! Hand knit socks are the best! Don’t want beads on your socks? Easy, just don’t use them and knit those stitches instead! Want your socks to be taller? Even easier! Just knit more rounds before you start the heel!
