The sweater has a round yoke and a back-neck split that is closed with a button while ribbed edges finish the sleeves and body. Elmer Sweater is worked in the round from the top down with 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of either Soft Silk Mohair or Compatible Cashmere. However, if the recipient is under 1 year old, we recommend choosing Compatible Cashmere over Silk Mohair, as the mohair fibers can be uncomfortable for babies.
