The Augusta Lace Socks are worked cuff down, **using fingering or dk weight sock yarn**. The leg and the foot are worked up in the characteristic stitch pattern of the Augusta Lace Scarf – a combination of twisted stitches, lace stitches and a broken rib. In addition, the pattern includes instructions for a modification without the lace stitch. **MATERIALS** • **Yarn**: 65 - 100 g of fingering weight sock yarn, e.g. Arwetta by Filcolana, Merino Sock by Olivia & Oliver Fibers or Tweed 4-fädig by Regia or 70 – 100 g of dk weight sock yarn, e.g. Classic DK by Olivia & Oliver Fibers • **Needles**: 2.25 mm double pointed needles or circular needles to do the Magic Loop technique with fingering weight yarn or 3.5 mm double pointed needles or circular needles to do the Magic Loop technique with dk weight yarn **SIZING** The instructions are available in three sizes: Size 1 (48 stitches), Size 2 (60 stitches) and Size 3 (72 stitches). Size 1 is recommended for the use of dk weight yarn, whereas size 2 / size 3 are recommended for the use of fingering weight yarn. **General Note**: As a “one-woman-show” I translated this pattern myself. As a native German grammar mistakes in the English pattern can occur. The pattern has been test knitted, so you should be good to go - if you have any questions or problems, please contact me at quasigerade@web.de - Thank you so much for your support! Happy Knitting! Bella
