Inspired by the layered shapes of the desert rose, the cables travel up the fabric and gather into a petal-like crown. After the ribbing, the cable pattern continues through the body. The crown is shaped with decreases and twisted stitches to form the petal-like top. --- ### **Yarn Notes** Our sample was knit in Magpie Quartet Worsted 100% Superfine Superwash Merino — 210 yds / 100 g A yarn with some animal fiber and good twist will give the best stitch definition and really show off the cables.
