MATERIALS YARNS: 80-110 g Alize Superwash (wool 75%, nylon 25%; 420 m/100 g): Main Colour (MC) 50-65 g Contrast Colour (CC) 30-45 g NEEDLES: US 1 (2.25 mm) and US 2 (2.5 mm) NOTIONS: marker, waist yarn, cable needle. **GAUGE** 32 sts/42 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch. 34 sts/52 rounds = 4”/10 cm in pattern stitch. **CHARTS** These charts are worked using slipped stitches. Unlike stranded knitting, there are no colour changes during the round, no threads floating at the back of the work – or at the inside of the sock. Each round is worked completely in one colour. The colour changes are created by slipping the stitches.
