Lil Fluff

Lil Fluff is a one-skein cloudy wonder for fluff lovers! You only need one 50 g skein of laceweight fluffy yarn (any kind of mohair, fluffy alpaca, suri merino…) to make a delightfully warm and light triangle shawl. Perfect for that one skein you love but are not sure what to pair it with: no pairing required here! This shawl is worked flat, mostly in garter stitch with a few decorative eyelet rows and a neat i-cord finish. I don’t usually knit several samples of the same design… But this pattern is so easy and relaxing that it was too tempting to make more than one Lil Fluff Shawl! YARN 1 skein (50 g) of fluffy laceweight yarn such as: Lil Rainbow by Lil Weasel, Lil Fluffy, 72% kid mohair 28% silk, 420 m / 459 yds / 50 g. Sample in col. Crème de marrons (caramel brown) Norne Yarn, Lace Kid Silk, 72% kid mohair 28% silk, 420 m / 459 yds / 50 g. Sample in col. Bergtatt (light lilac) Norne Yarn, Lace Luxury Cloud, 42% baby alpaca 35% silk 13% fine merino 10% yak, 400 m / 437 yds / 50 g. Sample in col. Hagbard and the King’s Daughter (pink) 350 m / 383 yds are required to complete the shawl. NEEDLES AND NOTIONS 4 mm / US 6 circular needles, or size required to obtain gauge 1 self-locking marker or equivalent to mark RS of work 1 marker tapestry needle GAUGE 15 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm / 4’’ over garter stitch after light blocking. Gauge is not crucial but it will affect yarn quantity requirements. FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Lil Fluff is a small triangle shawl, slightly v-shaped at the top for best ergonomic fit. Parfait pour mettre en valeur un écheveau isolé : 50 g de mohair (de suri, d’alpaga, ou toute autre fibre légère et bouillonnante) seulement sont nécessaires à la réalisation de ce châle. Le respect de l’échantillon n’est pas crucial à la réussite du projet mais la quantité de fil nécessaire sera affectée.
