Available in sizes from NewBorn to 10 years, it offers a comfortable fit with extra room. The pattern includes sizes: NewBorn, 3M, 6M (12M, 18M, 2yr) (4yr, 6yr, 8yr, 10yr) and is designed with a recommended 4-15 cm positive ease, allowing for a looser fit in larger sizes. Knitted from the top down in a half fisherman's rib, it has a stylish drop shoulder and oversized design for long-lasting wear. The cardigan is constructed by working the back and fronts separately at first, joining them at the underarms, and then continuing to the ribbing. The sleeves are then knitted from picked-up stitches, and a double-knit buttonband is added at the end. I tried to design it with an oversized fit according to the age of the child, to allow the garment to fit bigger or smaller kids within that age range, by for example rolling up the cuffs for smaller kids. I would suggest knitting the size of the age of the kid if you are unable to measure them.
