Wacky Weave Ndebele

I have fond memories of driving past the Ndebele houses with my parents as a child. With every road trip I could not wait to see their villages. My parents knew that should I fall asleep in the car, they had to wake me up before we got to that area. This pattern is a tribute to their rich culture and the influence their art had in my life. To this day, I love the rich, geometrical patterns that I saw as a child. It is those patterns, that caused my love for interlocking crochet, or as I call it, Wacky Weave.
