Gumby Cushion and Doll

This crochet pattern is for a classic Gumby cushion with a pocket just for a wee Gumby pocket pal doll! An original pattern by Fat Lady Crochet. This easy crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don't mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way. You will need: • 900 grams size 4 worsted weight yarn in green • 30 grams each size 4 worsted weight yarn in white, red, yellow • Crochet hooks: size 6.00 mm J hook and size 4.00 mm G hook • Tapestry needle • Fiber Fill • Stitch marker • 2 x 10 cm red buttons ONLY if piece is intended for people over 3 years of age • Premade 14" x 14" cushion form • White acrylic paint for eye shine Notes • The cushion cover and pocket are worked using 2 strands of yarn held together and with larger hook. • The facial features and pocket are worked separately and then sewn on. • The facial features are worked in continuous rounds. • Pocket Pal Gumby is worked in continuous rounds. • Pocket Pal Gumby's arms are worked separately and then sewn on. • Pocket Pal Gumby is roughly 8 inches tall.
