Broken Trails

Based on a repeating wedge shape, Broken Trails is designed to take advantage of your special skein, no matter the length. For smaller skeins, the shape is a shallow, asymmetrical triangle, but as the number of wedges grows, the shawl tends toward a curving asymmetrical crescent shape. The wedge stays the same throughout the shawl, but because of the short row placement, creates a staggered pattern. This shawl was designed and knit during my 2023 Special Skein KAL.
