Description Listing for KNITTING PATTERN ONLY - Oakley Top Down Cardigan - P258 SKILL LEVEL - Intermediate This top down cardigan is worked in stocking stitch with a cluster stitch pattern around the yoke and sleeve cuffs. The pattern comes with 2 Versions, Version 1 for those who like to knit the sleeves flat, so this does mean a little seaming is involved, and Version 2 for knitting the sleeves in round which means no seaming required. The pattern has been tech edited, test knitted and graded as being suitable for the INTERMEDIATE KNITTER. Due to the cluster pattern around the yoke I do not recommend this pattern for a beginner knitter. SIZES [A] -- 3 months [B] -- 6 months [C] -- 12 months [D] -- 18 months [E] -- 2 years YARN REQUIREMENTS The yarn I am using is Wild Earth Yarns (Ashley 4ply 100 % Fine merino wool, approx 200 m/219 yd per 50 gram ball. [A] -- 95 grams / 380 metres / 415 yards [B] -- 110 grams / 440 metres / 480 yards [C] -- 130 grams / 520 metres / 570 yards [D] -- 145 grams / 580 metres / 635 yards [E] -- 160 grams / 640 metres / 700 yards NEEDLES REQUIRED One pair 3.5 mm (US 4) long straight needles or circular needle. One set 3.5 mm (US 4) double-pointed needles if working sleeves in the round. One pair 3. 5 mm (US 4) straight needles if working sleeves flat. OTHER MATERIALS 3 buttons 6 stitch markers TENSION / GAUGE 24 stitches x 34 rows / rounds = 10 cm (4 in) worked in st st on 3.5 mm (US ) needles.
