Joseph’s Ladder Wreath

How about a Christmas Wreath, or a plaque to date your blanket? This is an unusual Afghan square featuring a circular laddering technique. It may be used without the central overlaid motif, as a place to add the date and initials to your blanket in true sampler style. Working in other colours will give a whole new look, and adding a different central motif of your own will give a less seasonal block. Have fun playing with it. My sample was Stylecraft Special DK with a 3.5 mm hook, and measures 9”.
