There are so many cute possibilities with this design. * Make a collection in your chosen colour scheme to feature on your Christmas tree. * Add to wrapped gifts as a double-duty gift topper/Christmas tree decoration. * Make as a cute Valentine’s Day gift, easy and Quick enough to make a number of them! * Make tiny ones using embroidery thread or crochet thread (#3 or #10) and attach to a key chain, or length of crochet cord as a bookmark. * Add tiny ones to a necklace or bracelet for a cute charm, or create a pair of adorable earrings. * Make as a shelf decoration for a touch of whimsy all year round. Almost any yarn can be used for this project, with corresponding hook size. I’ve found it’s best to use the same make of yarn for the entire project for wonderful results. You can also use this pattern as a stash buster - just stick to yarn with similar fibre content & close to the same number of metres per 100g. I recommend using a smaller hook than you would normally use for your chosen yarn.
