*Flurries of magical snowflakes are captured in a beautiful drift to make this blanket constructed of individual motifs, each incased and joined as the blanket is worked with a decorative border added to compliment the design which shows off the pretty snowflake points at either end.* **Skill Level** *Intermediate to Advanced* Intermediate stitches used. Directions assume previous experience with detailed written patterns (or charts) and JAYG. **Yarn** Choose one of the two options below depending on if you wish to use a commercial yarn or ‘yarn advent’ mini skeins in your blanket: *1. Drops Baby Merino* 100% Merino Wool / 50g, 173m (190 yards) Main Colour: 7 balls - White (01) Contrast Colours: 6 balls, 1 of each following: Light Turquoise (10), Ice Blue (11), Light Sky Blue (24), Light Lavender (37), Light Sea Green (43), Dew (53) OR *2 - Advent Minis Yarn* I used Drops Baby Merino for the MC and a mixture of 4ply/fingering yarns for the CC snowflakes. Approx: 1828 m / 2000 yards in 4ply/fingering yarn. MC - 1098 m / 1200 yds (Drops Merino) CC - 732 m / 800 yds (Mini Skeins) Mini skeins - Approx 4.8g CC yarn used per snowflake.
