Knit-Look Broken Rib Stitch

***Also available as part of the 2026 Afghan Club.*** Skill Level: Easy Stitches used include ch, sc, hdc. Edging uses a unique cast-on hdc stitch (refer to video demo.) Finished Size: Make a blanket or scarf of any desired size; Sample 1 was approx. 32” x 40”. Materials: You may use yarn and hook of choice with this pattern. Samples were made using DK or light worsted weight yarn and crochet hook size H (5.0 mm) Sample 1 was worked in stripes, with 10 rows for each before changing colors. Sample 2 was worked by creating and joining approx. 6" squares together to create a patchwork "rag-quilt" style blanket. Pattern is written in standard American crochet terms.
