**Create for yourself or a friend a very useful and practical bowl cozy. NOTE: If you plan on placing this in the actual microwave you will need a 100% cotton yarn or 100% natural fiber yarn. Do not use a yarn with synthetic fibers if you plan on microwaving.** **SIZE:** Small (Medium, Large)-(diameter across top): 5.75 (6.25, 6.75)”/14.5 (16, 17)cm; **this will work best on bowls that have straight sides with no ledge/lip at the top and ones that do not have a very wide bottom** **STITCHES & TECHNIQUES USED:** chains, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, extended double crochet, working in the third loop, working in the back loop only **YARN:** #4 Worsted Weight, 75 (90, 105) yards of Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton or suitable substitute of 100% cotton **TOOLS:** US Size (G/6) 4.0 mm crochet hook, Yarn Needle, Scissors **OTHER:** **Read through all of the pattern notes before beginning** and please contact me if you ever have any questions about one of my patterns.
