YARN: Caron Macchiato Cake Yarn (80% acrylic / 20% wool, 481 yd / 440 m, 8 oz / 227 g, CYCA #5 Bulky), 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) cakes. Sample color: Soulful. HOOK: US J/10 [6.0 mm] or hook needed to obtain gauge. NOTIONS: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, blocking mats, blocking pins. TECHNIQUES USED: Foundation single crochet (fsc), stacked double crochet, double crochet 2 together (dc2tog), double crochet treble crochet together (dctrtog), neck decrease, single crochet 2 together (sc2tog), split single crochet. CONSTRUCTION: Sweater is worked in flat panels (back and front) and seamed. Collar, ribbing, and cap sleeves are then crocheted directly onto the seamed sweater body. Neckline shaping instructions are broken out by size grouping (XS/S • M-XL • 2X-5X • 3/4X) so you follow only what applies to your size.
