The stranded floral motif carries across the hand, balanced by simple ribbing that keeps the fit comfortable and secure. After the ribbed cuff, the stranded floral motif is worked across the hand. A thumb gusset is incorporated into the colorwork pattern, and the thumb is completed after the hand. Ribbing at the cuff and top keeps the fit comfortable while maintaining the clean lines of the design. --- ### **Yarn Notes** We especially love a single-ply fingering weight yarn for this design. Our samples combine Miss La Motte merino singles with Yarn Nouveau Yak Single Merino, which gives the colorwork soft definition and depth. That said, this pattern works wonderfully with stash yarn.
