The pattern can be purchased by clicking on "buy it now" above.*** The cockleshell border of this shawl is knitted first and then is followed by short rows in garter stitch to create a crescent shape (there is no need to wrap and turn in this pattern). Please note, these instructions are written only. **Size** One size only. Wingspan 156 cm (61.5 in); depth 38 cm (15 in) after washing and blocking **Gauge** 23 sts and 20 rows over 10cm (4in) over garter st after washing and blocking **Materials** Jamiesons of Shetland Ultra (lace weight; 50% lambswool, 50% Shetland wool, 194m /25g balls). 4 x 25g balls in Silver, 314 **Needles and Notions** One set of two extra-long (40cm) double pointed needles (DPNs) or 100cm long circular needle size 3.5mm (UK 10-9 / US 4) or needles in a size required to give correct gauge.
